Gerald O. “Jerry” Young age 72 of Hillsboro died Saturday evening, April 23, 2005 at Heartland of Hillsboro. He was born December 12, 1932 in Pricetown, Ohio the son of the late George and Edith Prine Young. He was retired as a purchasing agent for Allis-Chalmers after 27 years of service and a member of the Church of Christ in Monterey, Ohio. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Don and Brenda Young of Owensville, brother-in-law, Ken Hart of Dearborn Heights, Michigan, nieces, Donna Bub of Wisconsin, Diane and Deborah Hart of Michigan, nephew, James Hart of Michigan. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother and a sister, Mary Anna Hart. Services will be at the convenience of the family at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.  Rev. Don Young will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Barker Cemetery in Pricetown.
