Nathan Andrew Hurt,
age 47, of Lynchburg, died Friday morning, December 22, 2006 at his residence.
He was born January 13, 1959 in Cincinnati, the son of Hunter W. and Christine
(Farmer) Hurt. He was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Blanchester, and
was a U.S. Army veteran. On November 22, 2000, in Blanchester, he married Tara
(Cornett) Hurt, who survives. He is also survived by his father, Hunter W.
Hurt, Sr., of Lynchburg, three sons, Neil Hurt of Hillsboro, Dennis Lechner of
New Vienna, David Payne, Jr., of Chillicothe, four daughters, Jennifer Ritter
of New Vienna, Lisa and her husband Matt Morris of Sabina, Samantha and her
husband Daren Snyder of Chillicothe, Erin and her husband Nicholaus Conover of
Wilmington, one brother, Hunter W. Jr. “Rick” and his wife Vicki Hurt of
Lynchburg, three sisters, Alda Joanne Horne of Wilmington, Jackie and her
husband Donald Rawlins of Lynchburg, Helen and her husband Terry Owens of
Beechmont, fourteen grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. He
was preceded in death by his mother, who died March 10, 2006. Funeral services
for Nathan will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at the Davis-Turner
Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Pastor Don Wahl will officiate. Burial with
military honors accorded by the Highland County Honor Guard will follow in the
Lynchburg Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on
Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg.
