Located in Hillsboro, Ohio, Turner & Son Funeral Home was founded on February 2, 1949, by W.A. Turner, who had graduated from the Cincinnati College of Embalming two years earlier.  Together, he and his wife, Bea, handled the day-to-day business of running the funeral home.

The Turner’s sons, Bill Jr., and Craig joined the business in the mid 1970’s.  Bill Jr. attended the University of Cincinnati and Craig attended Southern State Community College and Ohio University.  Both are graduates of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, Bill Jr., 1971 and Craig in 1976.
