Paul R. Young age 90, of Midland died Saturday, August 17, 2002 at the Kettering Memorial Hospital. He was born October 15, 1911 in Norwood the son of the late John William and Isadora Marconett Young.  He was a Staff Sergeant in the Army Air Corp. during W.W. II, a professional Chrysler mechanic, a member of the Friends Church in Westboro, a former employee of Hollon Trucking, and retiring from Wojcinski Sohio both in Blanchester. He was a school bus driver for the Blanchester School District for over 18 years. On December 12, 1945, in Blanchester he married Opal Hopkins Young who survives. He is also survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Glendora Young, one daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Rick Winters, one grandson, Galen Young, all of Midland, seven nieces and  four nephews. Including his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Nora Young, and  three brothers, Harley, Leonard and Clarence Young. Services will by 10:30 A.M. Wednesday at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Rev. Mary Cochran will officiate. Burial with military honors provided by the Highland County Honor Guard will be in the Lynchburg Cemetery. Friends may call 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg.
