Daisy C. Young age 85 of Lynchburg, Ohio, formerly of Buford died Wednesday, March 6, 2002 at the Blanchester Care Center. She was born September 27, 1916 near Harwood Ohio the daughter of the late Clifford and Viola (Wallace) Dean. Mrs. Young had been an employee of RobertShaw Controls and was a member of the Lynchburg First Church of Christ. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Rosalie and Dale Bailey of Lynchburg, Lana and Philip Thompson of Lynchburg, Pat and Stephen Forsythe of Russellville, two sons and daughter-in-law, Gene and Jean Young of Fayetteville and Gary and Sharon Young of Mt. Orab, one brother, George Dean of Mt.  Orab, six sisters, Cora Shively of Lynchburg, Mildred Wilson of Georgia, Genevieve Peck of Circleville, Rosetta Barber of Mt. Orab, Hazel Davis of Lynchburg, Susie Peck of New Vienna, eighteen grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Tommy, Delbert, Floyd, Clifford Jr. and Roy Allen Dean. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Ron Sams, Don Sams and Brent McLemore will officiate. Burial will follow in the Harwood cemetery.
