Mabel Yoho age 85 of Greenfield, Ohio formerly of Leesburg and Washington Court House died Tuesday evening, January 28, 2003 at the Greenfield Area Medical Center. She was born December 9, 1917 in LeesCreek, Ohio the daughter of the late John and Blanche (Achor) Morton. Mrs. Yoho had retired as a manager for the Singer Sewing Center. She was a member of the Leesburg United Methodist Church. She is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Kenneth “Red” Arthur of Leesburg and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vaughn Yoho in 1981, one sister, Bessie Moots and three bothers, Rendall, Glenn and Harry Morton. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 1, 2003 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Rev. Max Jackson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Centerville Cemetery in LeesCreek. Friends may call on Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
