Harry M. Wombold age 80 of Hillsboro died Saturday afternoon December 25, 2010 at Hospice of Cincinnati. He was born January 31, 1930 in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late, Harry and Mary Jane Delp Wombold. Mr. Wombold had retired after twenty-two years of service from the Buckeye Molding Company in New Vienna, Ohio as a Designer. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife Peggy Wombold whom he had married in 1999, one son, Jeff (Linda) Wombold of Huber Heights, one daughter, Julie Lopez of Mountain, Wisconsin, one step-daughter, Carolyn (Scott) Wilkin of Hillsboro, two step-sons, Gary (Nancy) Thompson of Wilmington, Larry Thompson of Wilmington, four grandchildren, Steven Wombold, Ashley Wombold, Mitch Lopez and Jeffery Lee Lopez, four step grandchildren, Kyle (Shawna) Thompson, Angie Thompson, Kurstin Wilkin, Randal (Brad) Throckmorton, one step-great grandchild, Kaylynn Thompson, three sisters, Sarah Norris of Dayton, Janet Hammond of Dayton, Jackie Scott of Kentucky and one brother, Gene Wombold of Dayton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, John Wombold and one sister, Lorene Porter. Services will be held at the convenience of the family on Tuesday at the Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory. Leo Kuhn will officiate. Visitation will be private.
