Marjorie E. “Margie” Wilson, age 69, of Lynchburg, died Monday, April 19, 2010 at the Highland District Hospital. She was born April 28, 1940, in Knoxville, Tennessee, a daughter of the late Paul and Helen (Crye) Dinwiddie. She was a Nursing Assistant for many years, and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. On December 13, 1992, in Batavia, she married her husband of seventeen years, James E. Wilson, of Lynchburg, who survives. She is also survived by three children, John Karaus and his wife Theresa of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, Regina Herrmann and her husband Scott of Batavia, Christina Britton and her husband Wayne of Batavia, seven grandchildren, Valerie (Louie) Galbraith of Columbus, Rachael (Ian) Martinez of Chicago, Zachary Britton, Travis Britton and Shelby Britton, all of Batavia, Lauren Karaus and Sarah Karaus, both of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, six sisters, Barbara Long, Nancy Johnson, Joan Cannon, Linda Baldridge, Brenda Webster, Nanci Travis and two brothers, David Dinwiddie and Charles Wood. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary Dinwiddie and David Johnson. In keeping with her wishes, her body was donated to the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. The family will receive friends and share memories from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 23, 2010 at the Pearl Street Church of Christ, 330 Pearl Street in Lynchburg.
