Larry Evan Wilson, age 52, of Mt. Orab, died Saturday evening, January 21, 2012 at the Hospice of Hope Inpatient Center in Seaman. He was born August 24, 1959, in Cincinnati, the son of the late Charles Evan and Dolores Jean (Mobley) Wilson. He grew up in the Harwood area, and graduated from Lynchburg-Clay High School.  He loved farming, and it was his greatest passion. Later in life, he loved traveling and seeing much of the United States as an over-the-road truck driver. He also thoroughly enjoyed old country and bluegrass music. He is survived by three children, Rhonda Lower and Jennifer Wilson, both of Blanchester and Michael Wilson of Lynchburg; seven grandchildren, Devon, Alivia, Haley, Nathaniel, Bryce, Josephine and Braedon; siblings Connie Newman of Wilmington, Michael Wilson of Newport, Kentucky, Patricia Canter of Terrace Park, Kathleen (Frank) Barber of Lynchburg, Judy (Wiley) Brown of Mt. Orab and Chris Wilson of Mt. Orab; a special friend, Mike Newman of Lynchburg as well as many special friends in Kentucky. In keeping with his wishes, Larry was cremated. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Contributions in Larry’s memory may be made to the family in c/o any local Fifth Third Bank branch. Kathy, Judy and the rest of the Wilson family, Jim and I were sadden to hear of Larry's passing. Although we haven't seen him in quite a long time we have many memories of him throughout our school years. Mine as far back to the Pricetown school, before we all went to Buford.
