Woodrow Wilson age 90 of Hillsboro, Ohio died early Monday morning, February 16, 2004 at the Highland District Hospital. He was born March 10, 1913 in West Hamlin, West Virginia the son of the late Edgar and Carrie (Holderby) Wilson. Mr. Wilson was retired from the Hillsboro Manufacturing Company and also as a farmer. He was a Golden Eagle member of the Hillsboro Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1161. He is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Jean and Sam Shepard of Hillsboro, Glenna and Frank Smith of Savannah, Georgia, Charlotte and Jim Fetters of Lakeland, Florida, one son, Kermit Wilson of Springfield, one sister, Minnie Kramer of Roanoke, Virginia, eight grandchildren, Deb Pettyjohn, Jackie Cowman, Jason Smith, David Smith, Barbara Fent, Sandy Fent, Larry Wilson, Donna Wilson and one great granddaughter, Jade Faul. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Veda Benzing and Pearl Adams and four brothers, Wilman, Ervin, Leonard and Everett Wilson. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Frank Smith will officiate. Burial will follow in the Tranquility Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Eagles memorial services will be held at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
