Dixie Watts, age 71, of Hillsboro, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 29, 2010 at Highland District Hospital. She was born May 22, 1939, in Greenfield, a daughter of the late Harold and Rosalee (Addy) Watts. She is survived by a sister, Diana Davis of Hillsboro and a cousin, Nola (Marty) Hutchinson of Columbus. She is also survived by the staff of Frazer Home in Hillsboro, where she resided, numerous friends at Highco, as well as long-time Frazer Home residents and friends Brenda Castello and Shawna Hoehne. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Delton Watts. A memorial service and celebration of Dixie’s life will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 5, 2010 at the Samantha Freewill Baptist Church. Rev. Wiley Perkins and Kraig Walker will officiate. A private burial of cremated remains will take place at the convenience of her family and caregivers at the Greenfield Cemetery. The Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory in Hillsboro is serving the family and providing cremation services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory.
