Glenn A. Watson, age 55, of Hillsboro, died Saturday, February 22, 2003 at the Highland County District Hospital. He was born March 8, 1947 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of the late Raymond H. and Charlotte (Gelter) Watson. He graduated from Greenfield McClain High School in 1965, was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War, and was currently employed as a Technical Specialist for Cincinnati Milacron where he had worked for 37 years. He is survived by his wife, Brenda (Kier) Watson, to whom he married March 14, 1970; one daughter Tracy L. (Phillip Ayres) Bennington, of Hillsboro; one son Tyler (and fiancé Richann Gonzales) Watson, of Batavia; two granddaughters Taylor D. Hoop and Keely J. Bennington, both of Hillsboro; mother-in-law Isabel Kier, of Hillsboro; and several cousins. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his father-in-law Clarence Kier. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 27, 2003 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home, Hillsboro. Burial will follow in Dunn’s Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home.
