Bascom Charles “Buck” Walters
age 68 of Bainbridge died Saturday evening in
Bainbridge. He was born September 9, 1938 in Wisco, Kentucky the son of the late
James P. and Sarah E. Jones Walters. Mr. Walters had been a construction worker.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Johnson Walters whom he had married on
April 13, 1959 in North Vernon, Indiana, two sons, Raymond Walters of Lebanon,
Lloyd Eugene (Linda) Walters of Dayton, three daughters, Eva Mae Walters of
Florida, Loyce (Clyde) Davis of Chillicothe, Elizabeth Phillips of Bainbridge,
two grandson which he had raised, Terry (April) Swiger of Bainbridge, Sean
(Sarah) Cawood of Bainbridge, one daughter-in-law, Jenny Walters of Hillsboro,
two brothers, Rev. Foster (Eleanor) Walters of Hillsboro, Delen (Loyce) Walters
of Hillsboro, one sister, Joyce (Lester Davis) Posey of Rainsboro, twelve
additional grandchildren, Matthew, Miranda, Isaiah and Harley Walters, Dakota
Hollon, Foster Walters, Jimmie, Cheyanna and Brittany Davis, Raymond Walters,
Jenny Henry and Sheila Smith, twelve great grandchildren and several aunts,
uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents he was preceded
in death by three sons, Toby, Charles and Foster Delen Walters and one
son-in-law, Jimmie Phillips. Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at the
Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Rev. Foster Walters will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Barnes cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 12:00
p.m. until time of services at 2:00 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in
Hillsboro.
