The Obituary of Michael Wesley Walker

Michael Wesley Walker age 24 of Hillsboro, beloved son, brother, uncle, grandson, and friend, died Friday, March 9, 2007 at his home. He was born February 25, 1983 in Georgetown, Ohio the son of Mike Walker and Pamela Stingley Walker. Michael was a graduate of Hillsboro High School and earned a degree in manufacturing technology from the Laurel Oaks Career Development Center. He was a welder and machinist. He is survived by his parents, Mike (Julie Martin) Walker of Hillsboro and Pamela (Allen Bishop) Walker of Hillsboro, maternal grandparents, Barbara and Dale Davis of Wilmington, one sister, Cassi (Carl) Kilpatrick of Beaufort, South Carolina, one brother, Lee Huffman of Hillsboro, three nieces, Beth Huffman, Reilly Kilpatrick, Reagan Kilpatrick, two nephews, Cory and Drew Huffman, four aunts, Rheta (Jerry) Lowe of Hillsboro, Rhonda (David) Manuel of Hillsboro, Judy (Larry) Johnson of Hillsboro, Cindy Scott) Goldizen of Ft. Wright, Kentucky and one uncle, Brett Davis of Wilmington. He was preceded in death by one sister, Crystal Dawn Huffman, paternal grandparents, Robert W. and Florence L. Walker and his dog and loyal companion Bandit. Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday, March 15, 2007 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Jeff Lyle will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Memorial contributions may be made to the Highland County Humane Society, PO Box 471, Hillsboro, OH 45133 or The Laurel Oaks Career Development Center, 300 Oak Drive, Wilmington, OH 45177.

Mike, Pam & Families, I live out of state and just learned of Lil' Mikes' passing. I am so sorry. I remember when he would come into Krogers and I would tease him and call him "Lil Mike." He always had a twinkle and a smile and was full of something - but I was never sure of what. I always looked forward to seeing him.
