Edward P. Turner age 78 of Hillsboro died Thursday May 11, 2006 at his residence. He was born March 19, 1928 in Mt. Orab, Ohio the son of the late Paul D. and Lorena (Patton) Turner. Ed graduated from Buford High School and had worked many years for the Moon Tractor Company in Hillsboro later retiring in 1990 from the Bryan Equipment Company in Cincinnati. He was a member and past president of the Hillsboro Eagles Aerie 1161 and a member of the Highland Lodge #38 F.&A.M. He is survived by his wife, Sue Turner whom he had married on July 24, 1972 in Jellico, Tennessee, ten children, Denise O’Donell of Florida, Terry (Diane) Turner of Florida, LuAnn (Allen) Frost of Batavia, Nancy (Jim) Anders of Wilmington, Lisa (Faye) Gibson of Leesburg, Eddie (Laura) Turner of Hillsboro, Melinda (Gary) Gleadle of Hillsboro, David (Sue) Greene of Lynchburg, Debbie (Marvin) Seipelt of Hillsboro, Michael (Becky) Greene of Hillsboro, fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, fourteen nieces and nephews including special nieces, Koneta (Joe) Rammel of Lynchburg and Neva (Eddie) Merriman of Buford. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Kate Turner, sister, Amy Daley, son-in-law, Dan O’Donell and three nephews, J.R. Ward, Rick Addison and Remington Johnson. According to Ed’s wishes he will be cremated. Memorial services will be held 5:00 p.m. Friday, May 12th at the New Life Ministries, 6101 S. R. 247, Hillsboro, Ohio. Pastor’s Bill Bowman and Galen Brown will officiate.. The Turner & Son Funeral Home is serving the family. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family, 9045 U.
