Willard Lewis Trout age 88 of Hillsboro died Thursday morning, March 14, 2002 at the Highland District Hospital. He was born November 2, 1913 in Highland County, Ohio the son of the late William Earl and Goldie Margaret (Bales) Trout. He had been a truck driver for the Miller Mason Paving Company, was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the VFW Post 9094. He is survived by his daughter, Patty of New Vienna, two grandchildren, Chris L. Fawley and Debbie McElwee, two great grandchildren, Shellie Carter and Chris L. Fawley Jr., one nephew, Doug Trout of Columbus and one niece Deena Kimmell of Fredericksburg, Virginia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jenevee (Edwards) Trout on March 26, 1996, one daughter, Mary Trout, one brother, Thurman Trout, one sister, Kay Musselman and one nephew, Tony Trout. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Military Honors will presented by the Highland County Honor Guard. Greg Roberts will officiate. Cremation will follow. Friends may call on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Memorial contributions may be made to the VFW Relief Fund, P. O. Box 368, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.

We are very sorry for your loss. Diana and I remember Willard fondly from working with him at the quarry for several years. Sorry we could not be there in person but we are going to be out of town.

Sorry to hear of Willard's passing he was a good friend. I have alot of good memories of him for a lot of years. I am in Florida until April and will not be there to offer my sympathies. Bill Mason
