Greetings to the Thompson Family;Itt was with sorrow that I saw the passing of Denny. I like to think That I was some help in getting Denny into the teaching profession. He had a knack for it and took it seriouslt. Knowing the family and having them in school makes the passing more difficult as the memories and sorrows of those we know is always difficult. May God provide you the comfort He has Promised and I do not doubt for a moment that His presence will be felt in your lives. Skip

Mary June and family,

I am sorry to hear of Denny's passing. I will always remember Susan and I playing on Denny's White Oak school bus while it was parked at Baker Heights. He must have had lots of love and trust to allow us to do so. Another great memory was when Mary June and Denny had Santa Claus arrive at their house to surprise Michelle, Mark, Julie, Joey, Susan, (Steve was beyond the age of Santa, most probably)and me.(Melanie wasn't born yet!). Finally, I have a wonderful memory of a time when Denny had been visiting Grandma Wisecup on W Main St. As she watched him walk to his car, she turned to me and said, "I love my little boy Denny." At that time, Denny must have been a man well into his 60s. A testament of a mother's love, which is always timeless, for her son. God Bless.
