Paul Strode Thompson age 90 of Georgetown formerly of Buford died Thursday, November 7, 2002 at the Villas of Georgetown. He was born September 26, 1912 in Otway, Ohio the son of the late Berlin and Hazel Z. Liston Thompson. He was the owner and mechanic of Thompson Garage in Buford for over 40 years, a W.W. II Army Veteran and a member of the Buford Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Cramer Thompson whom he married in Portsmouth on May 7, 1959, three sons, William Thompson of Mt. Orab, Michael Thompson and Philip Thompson both of Lynchburg, a step daughter, Joyce Lohr of Toledo, a step son, Dr. Richard McClurg of  Columbus, 9 grandchildren, Debbie Griffith, Angel Barrett, Darian, Douglas, Dustin, Tassy, Jason, Steven and Timothy Thompson, 8 step grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Samuel Thompson, a brother, Clem Thompson and a sister, Ruby Tucker. Graveside services with military honors presented by the Highland County Honor Guard will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the Buford Cemetery. Leo Kuhn will officiate. There will be no visitation.

I am wondering in my Grandfather, Francis Marion (Frank) Thompson, b. Otway, OH between 1864 & 1869 is related. His d. certificate says his parents were James Thompson and Melissa Liston. Do you know if we are related?
