Stephen E. Thatcher age 54 of Highland, Ohio died Sunday morning, November 19, 2006 at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. He was born February 6, 1952 in Williamsburg, Ohio the son of Charlotte Frye Thatcher of Highland and the late Earl Jr. Thatcher. Mr. Thatcher was an employee of TMI Facilities in Wilmington, Ohio. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and was a member of the National Rifle Association. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers, Robert (Debbie) Thatcher of Hillsboro, Alan (Teresa) Thatcher of Highland, two sisters, Patricia Thatcher of Highland and June (Lee) Harewood of Hillsboro, several nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Services will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Turner Funeral Home in Leesburg. Pastor John Fitzgerald will officiate. Burial will follow in the New Harmony Cemetery near Mt. Orab, Ohio. Friends may call on Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home in Leesburg.
