Gladys Irene Straight age 86 of Martinsville, Ohio died Friday morning, December 2, 2011 at the Laurels of Blanchester. She was born December 26, 1924 in Cannel City, Kentucky the daughter of the late Garsie Lee and Luna Ann Williams Williams. She is survived by her husband, Ollie Straight Jr. whom she had married on January 10, 1946 in Paris, Kentucky, two sons, Donald Ray (Gwen) Straight of Blanchester, Norman (Pam) Straight of Houston, Texas, seven grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and one brother, Daniel Joseph (Donna) Williams of Maryland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Donald Brian Straight, one sister, Edna Snyder and three brothers Arnold, Charles and Lawrence Williams. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 5th at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Rev. Robert Miller will officiate. Burial will follow in the Martinsville IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Dear Don and Gwen, My thoughts and prayers are with you. She left us with blessings. I remember taking care of her in the hospital on observation.
