Mildred Marie Strack, age 76, of Hillsboro, died Monday March 25, 2002 at the Highland District Hospital. She was born September 21, 1925 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of the late Frank and Pearl (Bunger) Heilman. She was a homemaker and a lifetime member of the AmVets Post #39 in Lakeview, Ohio, and Roundhead V.F.W. Post #8832. She is survived by three sons; Leonard Thomas (Virginia) Strack II, of Hillsboro, Michael S. (Nellerene) Strack, of London, KY and Jeff Strack of Hillsboro; two sisters, Betty Wardlaw of New Carlisle, OH and Dorothy Woodyard of Englewood, OH. Six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, ten nieces and three nephews also survive. In addition to her parents her husband Leonard T. Strack in 1996, one sister Lucille Conover and one brother John Heilman, precedes her in death. Graveside funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 29, 2002 at the Dayton National Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the Turner and Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
