Mary Elizabeth Thery Stier age 45 of Cincinnati died Friday, December 10, 2004 at her residence. She was born November 3, 1959 in Wilmington the daughter of Earl Edward and J. Veronica (Stevenson) Thery. On January 5, 1980 in Covington, KY she married James Stier who survives. She is also survived by her mother J. Veronica Thery Logan Smith and stepfather Ralph Smith of Georgetown, daughters and sons-in-law, Erica and Mark Stier-Whitson of Cincinnati, Raven Stier and Vincent Birch of Cincinnati, son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Shanquella Stier of Georgetown, grandchildren, Veronica, Marquella, Markeem, and Robert Earl Jr.; sister Vicki Thery of Cincinnati, step-sisters, Angela Spencer of West Chester, Eva Davenport of Cincinnati, Teresa Smith of Cincinnati, step-brother, Sherman Smith of Cincinnati, niece, Tiffanni Thery, nephew, Andrew Heider, great niece, Siane Heider and special friends Barbara and Roger Blakely and Margaret Birch of Cincinnati, along with many other friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Edward Thery and grandparents, John and Mary Stevenson who had been residents of Lynchburg. Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 15, 2004 at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Rev. Harold Braley will officiate. Burial will follow in the St. Patrick Cemetery in Fayetteville.
