Dale Steele, age 83, of Hillsboro, died Saturday, February 4, 2006 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. He was born February 19, 1922 in Wilmington, Ohio, the son of the late Clyde and Eva (Summers) Steele. He graduated from Wilmington High School in 1940, and was a longtime farmer in the New Antioch area. Along with his wife, Virginia (Curliss) Steele, he formerly owned and operated Steele’s Office Supply in Hillsboro, and was a member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Virginia (Curliss) Steele, to whom he married December 24, 1943 in New Antioch, Ohio; daughter Sylvia Griffith of Hillsboro; several brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews; and many friends. According to his wishes, Turner & Son Funeral Home provided cremation services. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2006 at Turner & Son Funeral Home, Hillsboro. John Porter of the Hillsboro Church of Christ will officiate. The family asks that donations be made to The American Cancer Society, Hope Lodge, 2806 Reading Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206.
