Raymond Smith age 94 of Hillsboro died early Friday morning, September 2, 2005 at his home. He was born January 26, 1911 in Sinking Spring, Ohio the son of the late Henry and Eva (Lovett) Smith. Mr. Smith had been a Milkman for the Swonger Dairy for twenty-eight years and had worked with Westview Motors for over twenty years. He is survived by his wife of forty six years, Martha M. (Hedrick) Smith, two step-daughters, Carol Pelletier of Blue Hill, Maine, Susan Clark of Hillsboro, one brother-in-law, Leslie Donaldson of Wilmington, four grandchildren, David and Bill Pelletier, Joshua Mustard and Michelle Haskell, four great grandchildren, Cody, Morgan and Tyler Pelletier and Megan Haskell and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Pearl Donaldson and two brothers, Howard and Russell Smith. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 7th at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Rev. Todd Toole will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
