Bertha May Smith age 90 of Mt. Orab, died Wednesday, May 26, 2004 at Highland District Hospital. She was born in Highland County on March 29, 1914, the daughter of the late Leonard and Louia (Frye) Smith. She is survived by a daughter, Bonnie Ooten, of Sardinia, 5 grandchildren, Adam (Andrea) Ooten, Raina Ooten, Nevin Rielage, Steven Rielage and Tony Rielage, one brother Otis Smith of Franklin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Garland Smith, a daughter, Carol Rielage three brothers John S. Smith, Clifford Croshaw, Roy Croshaw, and a sister, Marie Croshaw. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 28, 2004 at Greenlawn Cemetery in Milford. Rev. Harold Braley will officiate. There will be no visitation. Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro is serving the family.
