Our Dearest Barbara, Randy, Suanne and families ...

Our hearts were truly saddened when we heard about Howard. Please know how much we wish we could be there to give you hugs and a shoulder to cry on. You are very, very special to us and even though we are far away, please know we are here for you however we can help. Someone to talk to, someone to listen, someone who understands ... yes, we're just a phone call away. There will be some tough days ahead ... but with God's help, you will get through them. We loved being neighbors ... those were the good ole days. What great memories we will always have! Take care of yourselves and each other.

Our thoughts and prayers are truly with you!

Much Love ... Brenda Slater Cooper (on behalf of mom as well)

Barbara and family, I was shocked and saddened to learn of Howard's death. He was someone I was proud to know and call a friend. I have many fond memories of our encounters over the years while I worked for the Health Department. He was one of the good guys. My condolences. I'm sorry I was unable to attend visitation.

Barbara and Suanne,

I was sad to hear of Howard's passing. And I am sorry that I was unable to come to the funeral. Our son, Ross, had minor surgery on the 30th. Mom told me there were a lot of people there. I am thinking of you and Suanne and what a blessing that Howard was able to be with David Howard for even a short time. Those times will always be precious. I have a lot of pictures in my house of Brooke (now 22) and Dad and look at them every day.
