Evelyn Louise Skaggs, age 70, of Killeen, Texas, formerly of Hillsboro, died Sunday, December 11, 2005 at the Menker Heights Nursing Center, in Texas.  She was born February 5, 1935 in Xenia, Ohio the daughter of the late John and Grace Mongold Hilderbrand.  She was a lifetime member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1161 in Hillsboro, and had worked for Packaging Resources in New Vienna before retiring from 22 years of service.  She is survived by three sons, Timothy R. (Rita) Skaggs of Decatur, Georgia, Randal (Cathy) Skaggs of Hillsboro, and Daniel Skaggs of Washington C.H.; two daughters, Lora J. (Tim) Dunnagan of Hillsboro and Carol A. (Daniel) Cox of Killeen, Texas; one brother Ralph Hilderbrand of Piketon; one sister Barbara Mulkey of Springfield, Ohio; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Oscar G. Skaggs, August 24, 1974; longtime companion, Mitchell "Mike" Blair; and three sisters, Marie Depoy, Annabelle Farmer, and Gladys Morris.  Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2005 at Turner & Son Funeral Home, Hillsboro.  Burial will follow in the Marshall Cemetery.  Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.  For more information and to sign our on-line register please visit www.turnerfuneralhomes.cc
