Joan K. Sites
age 77
of Hillsboro died Friday March 16, 2007 at her residence. She was born April 15,
1929 in Moulton, Iowa the daughter of the late Ralph Henry and Nana Ester Swarts
Mikels. Mrs. Sites had worked as an office manager for her husband Dr. C. O.
Sites who survives. She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law,
Kathleen and Justice Stephen Markman of Mason, Michigan, two grandsons, James
and Charles Markman and one brother and sister-in-law, Harold D. and Dolores
Mikels of Freeport, Illinois. Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March
21, 2007 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Reverend James Catron
will officiate. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may
call on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home
in Hillsboro. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s
choice.

Dear Doc and Kathy; Sorry to hear the news of Joan; Here I am in florida and can`t even give you my condolences. You were always around when ever our family needed you and of course Joan was there to help. We should have thanked you a along time ago and I hope we did.Kathy and vicky were like twins and even Marty and our Cathy always were checked out and entertained by Doc Sites and of course The Senior Dr. Sites was our tonsil expert and a favorite trailer camper for many years.
