Shirley Ann Shaffer age 56 of Hillsboro, Ohio died Friday morning August 8, 2003 at her home. She was born April 14, 1947 in Cincinnati the daughter of Betty (Lucas) Brown of Hillsboro and the late Clarence Brown. She was a member of the Touch Point Pentecostal Church in Hillsboro. In addition to her mother, Betty Brown, she is survived by three daughters, Lisa Routt of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, Tina Simms of Cincinnati, Melissa Routt of Cincinnati, nine grandchildren, two sisters, Pat Duncan of Hillsboro, Dora Blozy of East Enterprise, Indiana and two brothers, Clarence Brown Jr. of Cleves and William Brown of Loveland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Shaffer on June 6, 1996, her father, Clarence Brown, one son Joseph Routt and one sister, Donna Shaver. Services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Pastor John Worley will officiate. Cremation will follow the service. Friends may call on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
