Marilyn J. Seymour age 55 of Hillsboro, Ohio died Thursday afternoon, November 21, 2002 at the Deaconess Hospital in Cincinnati. She was born February 8, 1947 in Covington, Kentucky the daughter of Franklin A. and Juanita (Smith) Lowe Sr. of Hillsboro. Mrs. Seymour had worked at the Highland District Hospital, the White House Care Center and RobertShaw Controls. She was a member of the Hillsboro New Life Fellowship Church and served as secretary-treasurer of the church since 1988. She was also a member of the Hillsboro AGLOW and the Hillsboro Christian Women’s Group. In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband, Pastor Charles E. “Jack” Seymour whom she had married on February 11, 1968 at the Hillsboro Church of Christ in Christian Union, three daughters, Dawn Schirmer of Hillsboro, Carla Winkleman of New Vienna and Gayle Edenfield of Hillsboro, one son and daughter-in-law, David and Patty Seymour of Toledo, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Darryl Collier of Tipp City, LeAnn and Steven Newman of Chillicothe, one brother and sister-in-law, Franklin and Kit Lowe Jr., sixteen grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, Samuel Joseph Seymour and one daughter, Jacquelyn Jeanette Seymour. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Pastor Hal Chadwick will officiate. Burial will follow in the Barnes Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Box 1768, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
