Harry L. Seaman age 84 of Wilmington, Ohio died Thursday morning March 9, 2006 at the Clinton Memorial Hospital. He was born January 3, 1922 in Greenfield, Ohio the son of the late John and Ella (Darlington) Seaman. Mr. Seaman had been a lifelong farmer and had also worked for the Nutter Company in Xenia as a machinist. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ellen and Norman Poe of Bradenton, Florida, sons and daughters-in-law, James and Joy Seaman of Hillsboro, David and Melanie Seaman of New Vienna, step-daughter, Shirley Hart of Leesburg, eleven grandchildren, Mark and Stephanie Seaman of Seaman, Jennifer Seaman of Peebles, Christina Seaman of Peebles, Craig and Jennifer Seaman of Leesburg, Todd Seaman of Hillsboro, Chad and Stephanie Seaman of Sabina, Ryan Seaman of Sabina, Lindsay Seaman of New Vienna, Blake Seaman of New Vienna, Brad and Becky Poe of Vandalia, Shayne and Joy Poe of Jackson and four great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Robert Seaman, three brothers, Edgar, Ralph and Paul Seaman and two sisters, Lucille Parks and Irene Lowry. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Wilmington Church of Christ, 909 W. Locust St. Wilmington, Ohio. Rev. Tom Zile will officiate. Burial, with military honors, will follow in the Valley View Memorial Gardens in Xenia. Friends may call on Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro and from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Wilmington Church of Christ.
