
Wayne Allen “Buck II” Scott age 34 of Wilmington died Saturday, January 22, 2005 at the Clinton Memorial Hospital. He was born June 26, 1970 in Xenia, Ohio, the son of Wayne Allen Scott and Esther Jane Cumberland Scott. He had been a member of the Cartheginia Full Gospel Church in New Vienna. He is survived by his mother, Esther Scott of Hillsboro, father and step-mother, Wayne Allen and Gustelia Scott of Wilmington, maternal grandmother, Zella M. Cumberland of Hillsboro, maternal grandfather and step-grandmother, Stanley and Mary Cumberland of Hillsboro, a brother, Shawn Logan of Long Beach, CA and 2 sisters, Toyia Scott of Wilmington and Estee M. Scott of Durham, NC, a special nephew, Dimetrius Scott of Wilmington and his best friend, James Bennett of Wilmington. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday at the New Hope Baptist Church in Hillsboro. Pastor Michael Hudson will officiate.
