Hazel Geraldine Thompson Runyon, age 93, of Hillsboro, died Saturday June 7, 2003 at Heartland of Hillsboro. She was born December 20, 1909 in Peebles, Ohio the daughter of the late John and Minnie Tolle Thompson. She spent most of her life in the Hillsboro area and was a member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband George Raymond Runyon, to whom she married January 26, 1946; two daughters, Hilda Lewis of Centerville and Mary (Howard) Burnett of Jeffersonville; six grandchildren including Connie (Pat) Weidner of Centerville; 18 great grandchildren; and 9 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers and seven sisters, she was the last of her family. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
