Ruth W. Roush, age 88, of the Taylorsville Community, died Friday, June 2, 2006 at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.  She was born January 28, 1918 in Highland County, the daughter of the late William and Rose (Aber) Lance.  She was a member of the Union Church of Christ.   She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Carole Roush of Maryville, Tennessee, two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Fred Kay of Winchester, and Kay and Steve Wilhelm of Batavia, two sisters, Mabell “Polly” Lucas of Hillsboro and Myrtle Williams of Bethel, two grandchildren, Nora Jane (Phil) Allard of Yakima, Washington and Esther (Derek) Miller of Maryville, Tennessee, four great grandchildren, Austin Miller, Alyssa Miller, Aric Miller, Daniel Allard and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Roush, who passed away in 1957, one sister, Mary Doersam, and four brothers, Floyd Lance, Clarence Lance, Millard Lance and William Lance, Jr.  Funeral services for Mrs. Roush will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.  Burial will follow in the Hamer Township Cemetery.  Friends may call from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.  Memorial donations may be made to the Union Church of Christ, Mowrystown-Danville Rd., Mowrsytown, OH  45155.  For more information or to our on-line register please visit www.turnerfuneralhomes.cc.
