John Edward Robbins age 79 of Hillsboro, Ohio died Sunday, March 2, 2003 at his residence. He was born October 7, 1923 in Highland County, Ohio the son of the late John and Edith (Achor) Robbins. He was a retired farmer. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Martha Robbins of Maineville, niece, Sue Williams of Maineville, nephew, Edward Robbins of Michigan, three grand nieces, Holli Abrinica and Heather Tackett of Maineville, Katherine Scallian of Michigan and one grand nephew, Joseph Robbins of Michigan. In addition to his parents one brother Robert “Bob” Robbins preceded him in death. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Rev. Spencer Keech of the Deerfield United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in the New Market Baptist Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services on Thursday at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
