Linda Eve Rice, age 61, of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at Highland District Hospital. She was born December 24, 1948 in Clearfield, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Charles Roscoe and Vona Kathleen Lambert Cundiff. She is survived by two children, Gene Rice of Hillsboro and Lilly (Jeff) Berwanger of Greenfield; grandson Roger Adam Rice-Berwanger; step grandsons Jaremiah D. and Philip J. Berwanger; sisters Janice Franklin of Montana, Gale (Daniel) Michael of Hillsboro, Carla Cundiff of Hillsboro, Juanita (Bruce) Hartley of Leesburg, and Audrey Daniels of Hillsboro; sister-in-law Pin Cundiff of New Vienna; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews; and many close friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son Adam Charles Rice; infant sister Harriett Kay Cundiff; and four brothers, Jackie D. Cundiff, Rex T. Cundiff, Gordon F. Cundiff, and David Cundiff. Graveside funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at the New Vienna I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 27, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home, Hillsboro.
