Donald Gene Rhodes age 74 of Hillsboro died Friday, August 13, 2004 at his home. He was born August 12, 1930 in Springfield, Ohio the son of the late Thomas and Jeanette Rhodes. Mr. Rhodes was a model technician in the aircraft engineering industry for over forty years and had worked for Dynamic Devices and Tech Development Companies. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by five daughters, Deborah (George) Priestly of Hillsboro, Linda (Albert Ashburn) Stockstill of Dayton, Patricia (Allen) Vincent of Kettering, Jennifer Anello of Newport News, Virginia, Cindy (Patrick) Kelley of Newport News, Virginia, four sons, Bobby Rhodes of Knoxville, Tennessee, Mark (Velma) Rhodes of Hillsboro, Michael Rhodes of Springfield, Jeff (Diane) Helm of Dayton, twenty grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and one sister-in-law, Pat Rhodes of Springfield. In addition to his parents three brothers preceded him in death. Services will be held 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 17th at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. The Rev. Harold Braley will officiate. Cremation will follow. Friends may call on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
