Brenda J. Pumpelly, age 45, of Hillsboro, died Friday February 7, 2003 at the Highland County District Hospital. She was born May 13, 1957 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of Jewel Simpson Rowland. She was employed by Kautex-Textron formerly Randall Textron in Wilmington, and enjoyed gardening and growing flowers. She is survived by her mother Jewel Rowland of Cincinnati; husband Neil Pumpelly; four children, Terry “T.J.” (Mandy) Sellman, Joseph “Scott” (Rachel) Sellman, Crystal J. Sellman and Jacob Thomas Sellman all of Hillsboro; one sister Rogenia (Pat) Vandivier of Troy, OH; three brothers John Rowland of Cincinnati, James E. (Lori N.) Rowland of Amelia and Jerry R. Rowland of Amelia; 10 grandchildren and a host of friends. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday February 12, 2003 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. The Rev. Tom Zile will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hamer Township Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
