Mary Ann Prye age 45 of Hillsboro died Friday, April 05, 2002 at her residence. She was born November 30, 1956 in Springfield, Ohio the daughter of the late Wilson and Dixie Cordell. She was a member of the Samantha Free Will Baptist Church and had been employed by Arby’s in Hillsboro. She is survived by her husband, Samuel Prye whom she married February 16, 1975 in Leescreek, Ohio, sons and daughter-in-law, Billy and Kim Prye of Lynchburg, Jesse Prye of Hillsboro, daughter, Mendy Prye of Hillsboro, two step sons and daughters-in-law, Sam and Julie Prye of Kettering, Albert and Rhonda Prye of Leescreek, two step daughters and sons-in-law, Charlotte and Earl Stone of Leescreek, Georgette and Mark Colt of Englewood; sisters, Agnes Summers of Springfield and Rosalie Duncan of Tucson, AZ.; two grandchildren, Dakota and Devin Prye of Lynchburg, nine step grandchildren, Earl, Samuel and Kimberly Stone of Leescreek, Blair, Blake, Brooke and Bryce Prye of Leescreek, Michael Prye of Englewood and Samantha Prye of Kettering. Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 8, 2002 at the West Union Church of God in West Union. The Rev. David Sibole will officiate. Burial will follow in the Kirker Cemetery in West Union. Friends may call 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. Sunday at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.

I KNEW MARY FROM WORKING WITH HER AT ARBY'S. MY MOTHER DEBBIE KNEW HER AS WELL. MARY WAS A GREAT PERSON. I HATE TO HEAR ABOUT THIS. OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH HER FAMILY.
