Audrey
Ann Price
age 72 of Hillsboro unexpectedly went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May
12, 2010. She was born August 11, 1937 in Hillsboro, Ohio the daughter of the
late Evelyn Poole Henning. Mrs. Price had worked for many years for Dr. S. Dale Ravenscraft and Dr. David Gunderman. She had also worked for the Oakland Nursing
Center. She was a member of the first graduating LPN class of Southern State
Community College. She was a member of the Hillsboro Free Will Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Henry O. Price whom she had married on September
17, 1953 in Miamisburg, Ohio, one son, Rodney (Carol) Price of Hillsboro, one
daughter, Vicki Johnson (Ben) White of Hillsboro, three grandchildren, Nathan
(Angela) Price of Hillsboro, Zachary (Jessica) Johnson of Hillsboro, Megan
(Donnie) Wolfe of Hillsboro, one step-granddaughter, Jamie (Tim) White of
Hillsboro, two step granddaughters, one great grandson, Grant Henry Johnson of
Hillsboro, eight step great grandchildren, a soon to be great grandchild and a
special niece, Teresa Pence of Hillsboro. In addition to her mother, she was
preceded in death by her very special grandparents, Samuel and Hazel Poole.
Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 15th at the Hillsboro
Free Will Baptist Church. Pastor Richard Burns and Minister Zachary Johnson will
officiate. Burial will follow in the Hamer Township Cemetery. Friends may call
on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Hillsboro Free Will Baptist
Church, 6360 US Hwy 50, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133. Memorial contributions may be
made to the Hillsboro Free Will Baptist Church, Children’s Church Program, 6360
US Hwy 50, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.

Audrey was truly a warrior for God. Even though her work here is finished and she will be missed by family and friends, a song like none other is being played in heaven in honor of her arrival. I worked with Audrey at Oakland.She was a remarkable nurse.She was a very kind person and a wonderful person to work under. Godbless all of the family.I will always remember all of the good times we had working together.
