JoAnn
Pierce, age 70, of Hillsboro, formerly of Blanchester, died Tuesday,
February 7, 2005 at her residence. She
was born December 14, 1934, in Crossville, Tennessee, the daughter of Joseph and
Eurcia Burgess Wilson. She is
survived by her mother Eurcia Wilson of Hillsboro; son Doug Pierce and his wife
Kay of Midland; daughter Vickie Pierce of Blanchester; legal guardian of Ashley
Sells of Hillsboro; grandchildren Christy Pierce, Becky (Eric) Davis, Ian
Johnson, Joseph Pierce, Timothy Pierce and Kayla Pierce; great grandchild Ashton
Davis; two brothers Jerry (Ann) Wilson of Hillsboro, and James Wilson of
Hillsboro; two sisters Johnnie Marie Sells of Hillsboro, and Phyllis Schober of
Hillsboro; three nieces; four nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her husband Frank
Pierce in 1993, and one infant brother. Funeral
services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2005 at the Wilmington Baptist
Temple, 2873 U.S. Route 68 South, Wilmington.
Andy Doherty and Elmer Helton will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Graceland Memorial Gardens, Milford. Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of
service at 1:00 p.m. at the church. For
