Margaret Joanne Pfister age 76 of Lynchburg, Ohio died Tuesday morning, April 4, 2006 at the Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington. She was born March 2, 1930 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of the late Rollo Earl and Mary Alice (Whitford) Mongold. Mrs. Pfister was a 1948 graduate of Lynchburg High School, received her Bachelors of Education from Wilmington College in 1966, her degree in Special Education from Wright State University in 1972 and her Masters degree in School Psychology from the University of Dayton in 1974. Her Career as an educator and school psychologist started in the Sabina School and later worked for the Clinton County Board of Education and for Hopewell SERRC in Highland, Brown and Clinton Counties. She is survived by her husband, Stanley A. Pfister whom she had married on June 17, 1950 in Lynchburg, two daughters, Jane Gallagher of Wilmington, Dianne (Donald I.) Dayton of Wilmington, two sons, Steven (Susan) Pfister of Piqua, S. Craig Pfister of Wilmington, five grandchildren, Heather Harmon, Mallory Dayton, Justin Dayton, Jenny Moreaux, Eric Pfister, three great grandchildren, one sister, Mary K. Workman of Milford and one brother, Thomas Mongold of Wilmington. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy Lytle. A memorial graveside service for family and friends will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 7th at the Troutwine Cemetery. The Rev. Donald Mertz will officiate. There is no visitation. Memorial contributions maybe made to the charity of the donor’s choice. The Davis-Turner Funeral Home of Lynchburg is serving the family.

Dear Stanley and family; We are sure the children will not remember their old neighbors but we have fond memories of that time and of course our earlier school days.
