Ada Mae Patton age 80 of Fayetteville died Thursday, March 24, 2005 at her son’s residence. She was born January 26, 1925 in Chasetown the daughter of the late Tony and Mary Berger Holden. She was a member of the St. Angela Merici Parish – St. Patrick Chapel in Fayetteville and was a caregiver to many of the sick within the community. She is survived by her son, John Patton of Fayetteville, brother, Louis Holden of Fayetteville, granddaughters, Lori Talley of Vera Cruz, Sarah Welte of Goshen, Christina Milton of Parsons,TN., 8 great grandchildren. In 1976 she was preceded in death by her husband, John Patton and most recently by her son, Jerry Patton. Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 A.M. Monday, March 28, 2005 at the St. Angela Merici – St. Patrick Chapel in Fayetteville. Rev. Andrew Umberg will celebrate the mass. Burial will follow in the Vera Cruz Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Masses may be said in her memory through St. Angela Parish, P.O. Box 279 Fayetteville, Ohio 45118. Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg is serving the family.
