Warren
Lee Patton
age 84 of Hillsboro died Thursday, March 22, 2007 at his residence. He was born
May 19, 1922 in Leesburg, Ohio the son of the late William H. and Lenna
Thornburg Patton. Mr. Patton had retired after forty-one years as a machinist
for the Bendix Company, now know as the Honeywell Company in Dayton. He was U.
S. Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Byrda Binns Patton
whom he had married on September 12, 1947 in Ironton, Ohio, one daughter and
son-in-law, Connie and Eddy Mullenix of Hillsboro, five grandchildren, Nichole
Lee (Nathan) Ritchey of Milford, Bobbie Sue and Allen Pacheco of Washington C.H.,
Andy, Billy & Amy Mullenix of Hillsboro, one granddaughter-in-law, Amy Patton of
Hillsboro, ten great grandchildren, one sister & brother-in-law, Elinor Patton
and Ervan Amidon of Traverse City, Michigan. In addition to his parents
he was preceded in death by his daughter, Judith Ann Sherwood and his grandson,
Jeffrey Patton. Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Turner & Son
Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Rev. Bill Hounshell will officiate. Burial with
military honors presented by the Highland County Honor Guard will follow in the
Greenfield Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Memorial contributions may be
