Ella M. Norris age 70 of Hillsboro died Tuesday afternoon, March 9, 2010 at her home. She was born December 22, 1939 in Arlington Heights, Ohio the daughter of the late Joseph and Bessie May Noe. Mrs. Norris had been the Hillsboro Laundromat Manager for twenty-four years. She is survived by her husband, Edwin Bruce Norris whom she had married on September 10, 1985, nine children, Douglas (Renee) Bailey of Williamsburg, Jill Ortega of Seaman, Edwin Bruce (Michelle) Norris Jr. of Hillsboro, Jacqueline (Mike) Mitchell of New Vienna, Jeffrey (Debbie) Norris of Belfast, John Norris of Rainsboro, Becky Jo Norris of Chillicothe, Jerel Lee (Melissa) Norris of Carmel, Jamie Norris of California, fourteen grandchildren, Jessica Dailey, Corey Bailey, Daryl Bailey, Jeremiah Norris, Kayla Norris, Samantha Norris, Jared Norris, Vanessa Ortega, Zachary Mitchell, Kyle Norris, Matthew Mitchell, Jayda Norris, Garrett Norris and Jonah Norris, one great grandchild, Hunter Dailey, four sisters, Mary Louise Campbell of Williamstown, Kentucky, Rita Faye Burgess of Ripley, West Virginia, Phyllis J. Scroggins of Brighton, Michigan and Paulette Moss of Lady Lake, Florida. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Woodson. Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 12th at the Turner & Son Funeral Home. Pastor Dan R. Lamb will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dunn’s Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. We met Ella in the laundry mat & were saddened to hear of her passing, she was such a sweet lady! At least now, she is in a better place and is pain free. We will never forget her. The family will be in our prayers.
