Emmet George Neises, age 98, of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at Hearth and Care Nursing Center in Greenfield. He was born February 22, 1912 in California, Kentucky, the son of the late Michael and Adelaide Oster Neises. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, and the Edward Fehring Council Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his sister Marie Neises of Hillsboro, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred and Ruth Neices, and five brothers, Orville, Elmer, Wilbur, Ralph, and Clifford Neises. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 7, 2010 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Hillsboro. Father Michael Paraniuk will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery in New Richmond, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 9:30 until 10:30 am at the Turner & Son Funeral Home, Hillsboro.
