Victor Mount, age 77, of Milford, Ohio, died Saturday, April 26, 2003 at the Jewish Hospital in Kenwood. He was born September 15, 1925, near Williamsburg in Brown County, Ohio, the son of Fred and Alma Gertrude (Bishop) Mount. He was a graduate of Lynchburg High School in 1943; a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Milford where he was a member of the Lutheran Church Choir since 1967 and an Elder from 1994 to 1997; was a member of the United States Navy Blue Jacket Choir and served in the Navy during W.W. II; and was employed for 23 years by the 7-UP Bottling Company in Cincinnati. He is survived by his wife Virginia (Pence) Mount, to whom he married June 7, 1947 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Lynchburg; his mother Alma Gertrude Mount, of Lynchburg; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Mount and his wife Barbara, and Gary Mount and his wife Kristie, all of Milford; one daughter and son-in-law, Pamela Mount-Heimlich and her husband Scott, of Milford; one sister Mary Branham, of Lynchburg; one brother and sister-in-law Jess Mount and his wife Bonnie of Lynchburg; five grandchildren, Bryan, Kari, Kelli, Julie, and Jeff Mount; and one great grandchild, Trey Mount. He is preceded in death by his father, one infant daughter Vicki Mount, and one infant sister. Funeral Services will be 12:00 noon on Wednesday, April 30, 2003 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Milford. The Rev. William Fenker will officiate. Burial will follow in the Lynchburg Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg, and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 noon at the St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Mark's Lutheran Church Building Fund, 5849 Buckwheat Road, Milford, Ohio 45150. The Davis-Turner Funeral Home, Lynchburg, is serving the family.
