Ira Ernest Morgan, age 80, of Sabina, died Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Hospice of Cincinnati.  He was born December 13, 1929 in Kentucky, the son of the late Joseph and Tempa Harris Morgan.  He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.  Mr. Morgan was a retired minister and attended the Wilmington Church of the Nazarene.  He and his wife Marilyn were foster parents for more than 35 years.  He had been a licensed pilot, served on Sabina Village Council, and had hosted international exchange students.  He enjoyed fishing and boating, and kept a boat on Lake Erie for the entire family to share.  He is survived by his wife or 38 years, Marilyn Mudd Morgan; children, Pat (Ben) Chitwood of Rockford, Illinois, Cindy (Geoff) Jacobs of Winnebago, Illinois, Andrea (Ross) Johnson of Lindstrom, Minnesota, Amy (Kevin) Ramsey of Westerville, Ohio, Carrie (Mike) Noel of Lebanon, Ohio, Shane (Vicki) Morgan of Reading, Ohio, Mike (Andrea) Neal of Alabama, Don Simpson of California, and many foster children who have become family; fifteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; siblings, Joe (Dorothy) Morgan of Punta Gorda, Florida, Linda (Bill) Stewart of Sabina, Bob (Deloris) Morgan of Sabina, Suzie (Hal) Allen of Wilmington, Jack Morgan, and Teresa (Roger) Friedman of Greenfield; and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Emma Rider, and Barbara Morgan; and one brother, Ray Morgan.  A celebration of Ira’s life will be held 11:00 am Saturday, March 27, 2010 at the Sabina United Methodist Church.  Mark Batton will officiate.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am at the church.  Private committal services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.  To leave on-line condolences, please visit www.turnerfuneralhomes.cc
