
John W. “Bill” Moore age 76 of Hillsboro died Thursday, June 9, 2005 at Heartland of Hillsboro. He was born August 20, 1928 in Highland County the son of the late John F. and Rosa Wilkin Moore. He was baptized at the Mt. Washington Church of Christ, worked many years at the Gross and Fiebel Co, retired from the Williamson Safe Company and enjoyed his retirement by helping friends and family. He is survived by his brothers, Robert E. Moore of Danville, Lewis (Dorothy) Moore of FL., nieces and nephews, Tina Moore of Hillsboro, Joy Matthews of Hillsboro, Ellen (Bill) Bowling of Kentucky, Larry (Judy) Moore of Hillsboro, Darrell Moore of Hillsboro, grand nephews, Brandon Moore, Alan Moore and Benjamin Matthews all of Hillsboro, Daniel Ward of Wilmington, sisters-in-law, Ruth Evelyn Moore of Hillsboro, Midora Moore of Grove City, and Louise Moore of Beavercreek. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Martha Berry and brothers, Richard Moore, Charles Moore, James Moore, Joe Moore and Edgar Moore. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Chad Quick will officiate. Burial will follow in the Prospect Cemetery.
