Mary Margaret Moon
age 89 of Midland, Ohio died Monday March 5, 2007 at the Continental Manor in
Blanchester. She was born October 15, 1917 in New Market, Ohio the daughter of
the late, Carey Cleveland and Mary Ann Graham Warlaumont. Mrs. Moon had retired
from the Jefferson School in Midland where she had spent many enjoyable years as
the head Cook. She was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church in Blanchester. She
is survived by two sons, Charles (Rita) Moon of Blanchester, Raymond Moon of
Midland, one daughter, Shirley Brackney of Columbus, Ohio, five grandchildren,
Caroline (Frank) Donnelly, John (Melody) Moon, Christy Moon, Cathy Tedrick,
Michael (Melissa) Moon, six great grandchildren, Drew Moon, Chelsie Moon, Ryan
Donnelly, Rachel Donnelly, Oscar Tedrick and Morgan Moon and several nieces and
nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,
Harold Moon on August 26, 1998, one brother, Henry C. Warlaumont, and three
sisters, Helen Unger, Gertrude E. Smith and Alice L. Powell. Mass of Christian
Burial will be celebrated by Father James M. Wedig at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March
16, 2007 at the Holy Name Catholic Church in Blanchester. Burial will follow in
the Troutwine Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00
p. m. at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg.
